Christmas card 2005
cards

Unfortunately this card was somewhat of a flop, as many people had no idea what Christmas special this was from. Can you name it?

Kinetic Collage Business Card – close up

Another business card, this one inspired by an upcoming zine.
A kinetic collage, the chads (the waste paper made from hole punching) move about with a bit of a shake.
Chads have been punched out of a typographical map and vintage library issue cards.
Ziplock bags are too long, so have been folded in half and stapled down.
All materials (except for card) thrifted/found.

Wide view.

When I went out to buy some tripod gear, I brought with me that card and some cash (just in case it fails). The lady swiped the card multiple times but to no avail, it failed. Sigh, I settled for a cheaper tripod because I didn’t exactly have lots-o-money that day…

Dutch Werewolf Cards

The title of the game is actually "The Werewolves of Wakkerdam", where Wakkerdam is just some fake Dutch village. The game is quite similar to how Werewolf is played at Barcamps, but has a lot of unnecessary characters that we will probably never use.

Self-Raising Bread, Trade Card, c. 1876.

Advertising trade card touting the convenience of an early bread mix, using chemical baking powder–then a new invention–in place of the traditional, more slow-rising, yeast of the past (typically derived from the beer-making process). Baking powder was quicker, but the results were far from identical. Horsford was an early inventor-producer.
acswebcontent.acs.org/landmarks/bakingpowder/development….
As yeasted bread moved into commercial production, and people for the most part stopped baking yeast bread at home, baking powder became the riser for so-called "light" breads, biscuits, pancakes, etc.
